The discussion in the German blogosphere continues. Here are two more opinions about the Web 2.0 Expo:

So, this is the first impression from the 1. Girl Geek Dinner in Germany. Nicole Simon was kind enough to organize this event and the newthinking communication did land us the location to party by the rules of women. This is probably more to come, but I’m not sure when or if, so just stay tuned.

We’d like to emphasize that the cool part about Germany is that we don’t have local, separated web-communities in cities. Instead with the help of Twitter, Barcamps and pl0gbars we have a passionate, decentralized web-community of real-life friends throughout Germany which is highly interconnected and supportive of its members.

Is it just me or has this day at the Web 2.0 Expo in Berlin been so much better then the last one? The keynote track was really good and interesting. Instead of feeling like a sales-pitch the Microsoft-presentation left us breathless, Jesse James Garrett was very inspiring and so on. Even most of the conference session felt a lot more in-depth.
Maybe it’s just that we got used to the confusing schedule, the awful lunch and the crappy wifi and were able to really focus on the content of the talks. Or the keynotes and sessions have just been better. Anyhow I’m looking forward to tomorrow.

People all of a sudden stopped playing Buzzword Bingo, surfing the web or napping away when Blaise Aguera y Arcas of Microsoft Live Labs took the stage and presented the brilliant photo application Photosynth. Most of the audience may haver never seen something that beautiful from Microsoft.
One question remains: What could this technology bring to porn?
